Red lentils can be cooked on the stove top.
Bring a pot of water to the boil with ration 1:5.
1 part red lentils to 5 parts water. Let boil for 5 minutes and then simmer on medium heat for approximately 10 minutes or until tender.
Red lentils are perfect for indian inspired curries, tossed through salads, added to burger patties, or in soups.
